DURATION (ROUND TRIP): 6 hours total ($140/hour) 8:30 am – 2:30 pm 

PRICE: $840+ $126 (customary 15% tip) + $100 weekend fee + $72 bridge toll +  $33 (2.9% credit card service fee) = TOTAL $1171

(Entrance fee to Kiptopeake State Park to be paid by ChaKeita) 

DESCRIPTION/ITINERARY:

Let the enjoyment begin! Time to head through the iconic Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia. Participants will be guided on a meditative nature walk by yoga instructor, ChaKeita, at Kiptopeake State Park. Dream a dream or two as you are surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Awaken all of your senses and just b-r-e-a-t-h-e! Later we will spend some time on the beach, soaking up the last of the warm rays of the sun before fall/winter settles in. Have a picnic lunch at the water’s edge. The day will end with a yoga session on the beach. We will return to REI by 2:30

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

– Air conditioned/heated new vehicle
– Transportation from REI 350 Independence Blvd to Kiptopeake State Park, Eastern Shore, VA; Return to REI
– a large cooler with ice pack, 5 gallon ice water dispenser, picnic blankets, umbrellas in case of rain, and associated Ecotour business fees; (excluding admission/permit to Kiptopeake and CBBT toll, excluding food/drink)
– Expert pre-planning services; expert driver/guide.

THINGS TO BRING/WEAR:
– Your digital/printed ticket is not needed because we have a computer generated check in sheet; ChaKeita will pre-send participant list (first names, last names, email address, phone number, mailing address to match waiver forms)
– EACH GUEST must bring a printed/signed waiver (please print at home, sign and bring to board the bus); each guest is required to complete this waiver form; it can be printed from the website TheNatureBus.com > Registration > Forms > Waiver It will be your tickets to board the bus. Without it, a person cannot board.
– Photo ID
– Refillable water bottle; as needed: sunscreen, sunhat, insect/tick repellant
– Rain jacket/umbrella if needed (we go in light rain); we can also provide 16 umbrellas upon request (email us)
– for walk/hike: closed-toed/tennis shoes/boots (if could be muddy at the park if it rained the day before)
– Bring a small insulated lunch box with frozen ice pack and your picnic lunch. Lunchbox will need to be soft-sided/squish-able to be able to fit under your bus seat. You can also bring a small backpack with a bathing suit, towel, change of clothes and shoes and a sweater/jacket if cooler outside. This backpack will need to be stowed away in the overhead rack above your head. You may also want to bring snacks for your pocket when walking outdoors (please no eating on the bus)

*We go “light rain” or shine. See our weather policy FAQs  page. Please dress for the weather. In the case of light rain, we simply take cover and wait it out. In the case of very heavy rain and wind, we move the experience to a rain-date. Be sure both dates will work for you (the original date and the rain-date).  ALL SALES FINAL/NO REFUNDS

*PLEASE: Eating, drinking, chewing gum is not permitted on the bus. Please arrive 15-30 min before departure. Save time at check-in by bringing your signed waiver. No restroom on board the bus; arrive early enough to use the rr at REI/Fresh Market grocery store. We will make rr stops throughout the tour. We cannot wait for latecomers because we must adhere to our planned itinerary. Therefore we must pull away at the exact departure time. We cannot receive telephone/text calls to let us know your are running late because we will driving and using the phone as a GPS.
*ALL OUR TOURS INVOLVE WALKING; GUESTS SHOULD EXPECT VARYING DEGREES OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. TICKETS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

COVID SAFETY MEASURES: We care about the health and safety of those participating in our nature experiences. The bus is sanitized between each tour. Feel free to open your window if you prefer. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have a fever. Federal Law no longer “requires” masks be worn on airplanes, trains and buses. It is optional to wear your mask while inside of the bus.
