Fall Foliage Photography Tour (Nov 6 + 7)

TOUR NAME:  Fall Foliage Photography Tour (Nov 6+7) 

DATE: Saturday, November 6 – Sunday, November 7 

DURATION (ROUND TRIP): departing at 8 am sharp – returning Sunday, Nov 7th around 7 pm (ish; tunnel traffic dependent) 

DESCRIPTION: FUN  LEAF-PEEPING WEEKEND. Many photo opportunities! Hoping the leaves may be at their peak color (but this is always weather dependent each season). We will visit a covered bridge, a water fall, a winery, and go apple picking. We will have a meal/lunch at the famous Michie Tavern ca. 1784. (*food and drink not included)

PRICE: $120 per person *all sales final; we do not offer refunds. 

Your overnight accommodations are being arranged by Debbi from HRDSC.

COVID SAFETY MEASURES: We care about the health and safety of those participating in our nature experiences. The Nature Bus has been outfitted with dividers between rows of seats. The bus is sanitized between each tour. We ride with windows partially open, like an open-air tram (weather permitting). Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have a fever. On trains, planes, and buses it is Federal Law to wear your mask. 

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
– Air conditioned/heated new vehicle
– Transportation
– Expert pre-planning services (arranging your itinerary)
– Food, drink, apples, etc are not included (please bring $)

THINGS TO BRING:
– Bring $ for your food and drink expenses all weekend; also please bring CASH because it is customary to tip 15% for your tour.
– Snacking at the hotel or at the winery – Bring snack foods and drink and BYOB. We have 3 medium-sized coolers. You may want to bring your own small coolers that is fine (soft sided because it won’t fit on the overhead rack otherwise)
– Bring SOFT SIDED duffle that can squish into the overhead rack. Suitcases will not fit. Pack lightly.
– Your digital/printed ticket
– Printed/signed waiver (or you can sign one on the bus); Helpful tip: PRINT the waivers, sign them, and bring them with you when you board the bus please. This will save us time so you won’t have to do it when you are boarding the bus.
– Photo ID
– fun board games for your evening in the hotel/inn
– hiking/workout shoes and clothes in case you want to walk the short distance to the waterfall
– an empty bag with a zipper in case you want to go apple picking (we don’t want them rolling all over the bus floor; so bring a bag that can close)

*PLEASE: Eating, drinking, chewing gum is not permitted on the bus. Nobody has ever eaten on the bus. That is how we keep it smelling like the day we bought the brand new bus. Please stow away food in coolers. We can stop as often as you all would like to snack, lunch, or drink. There is no restroom on the bus. Again, we can make stops along the way; just let us know and the driver can make a stop.

Please arrive 30 min before departure. We need to depart at 8 am exactly so that we will arrive in the mountain area in time to visit a covered bridge and a winery before it will close for the day. Please arrive on time. If you miss the bus, you can drive your own vehicle and meet us up there.

*THE WEEKEND WILL INVOLVE WALKING; YOU SHOULD EXPECT VARYING DEGREES OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. Let people know if you have health concerns that you’d like us to be aware of – so we can help you in the event of an emergency.
