DURATION (ROUND TRIP): 4 hours (10:30 – 2:30) Please arrive at 10:00-10:15 to board the bus. The “boarding procedure” takes some time. You will be asked to sign the waiver and the covid 19 question form. 

PRICE: $10 per person PLUS cost of strawberries 

DESCRIPTION: It’s strawberry season! And harvest time is NOW. The local berries are at their peak flavor. The Nature Bus is heading to a “pick-your-own” strawberry field. You don’t want to miss the bus! This is a wonderful activity for the whole family. Pick and eat them right away, or freeze them for later use. With Mother’s Day the very next day, gift some fresh picked strawberries to your mother, any mother, or a “pet mother.”  Meet new friends on The Nature Bus. Don’t miss out. Get your ticket today. The bus will depart at 10:30 am from REI 350 Independence Blvd. Virginia Beach

COVID SAFETY MEASURES: We care about the health and safety of those participating in our nature experiences. The Nature Bus has been outfitted with dividers between rows of seats. The bus is sanitized between each tour. Your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to sanitize your hands before boarding. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have a fever. Masks are required to be worn over both nose and mouth at all times when social distancing of 6 feet is not possible. We ride with all of the windows open for optimal air flow. You are always welcome to ride in your own vehicle and follow the bus to the nature experience.

THINGS TO BRING:
– Pack a picnic lunch. We provide the picnic blanket. Your lunch/drink will be stored in coolers on board the bus until picnic time. Please label your lunch with your name.
– Your digital or printed ticket
– Photo ID
– Cash for tips (it is customary to tip for tours)
– Water bottle
– Rain jacket/umbrella if needed
– Closed-toed/tennis shoes/boots (if could be muddy in the strawberry fields if it rained the day before)
– Snacks for your pocket when walking outdoors (please no eating on the bus)

*RULES: Eating, drinking, chewing gum is not permitted on the bus. Please arrive 15-30 min before departure. We do not wait for latecomers because we must adhere to our planned itinerary. Therefore we must pull away at the exact departure time. We cannot receive telephone/text calls to let us know your are running late because we will driving. Please plan on a slightly flexible return time; other factors may adjust the return time slightly.
