Guests had a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the Aquaculture Genetics & Breeding Center, learning how researchers are working to save Chesapeake Bay oysters. Afterward, guests visited VOT Board President Bruce Vogt at his business - Big Island Aquaculture Farm - where they witnessed the oyster farming process firsthand and indulged in some delicious fresh oysters, both raw and fried.
